My Latest App Design
"Whale Trail": App design for whale watching trips
App design of "Whale Trail" was done as part of Harvard Extension School course User Experience Engineering. The goal of the project was to create an app for whale watching trips to accommodate users' needs on their journeys.
The project started with user research, persona creation and interviews. After creating user journeys and identifying user stories, I have developed two UI packages for user testing. Final outcome of the project was a fully operational Figma prototype and a video presentation of the app.

"IMHO": An app for social networking-enabled recommendations

Elevator pitch
Think of the last time you traveled to a new city and wondered what places you should check out there. So, maybe, you asked your friends and locals for recommendations, but afterwards still had to sort through all those received messy notes, screenshots, TikToks, Google Map guides, Apple Map guides, journal articles... It would’ve been much easier to get those recommendations all in one place. Or think of that one disappointing restaurant that had 4.8 on Google Maps but the food wasn’t really that great? Maybe because the majority of reviews actually focused on cheap prices and big portions. Or maybe because someone gave a 1 star review because they came to the location outside of their opening hours. Because really the opinion that matters is yours. Or maybe your friends’. But not the hundreds other people’s of Google Maps. So this app allows you to experience places the people you care about care about. And also recommend places to them that you think are the best. In your humble opinion, of course. * This is an active product in development, more details and case study upon release of v1
